Nominations for the Grace Miller Award 2017

It’s that time of the year again to identify and praise an exceptional young member of the FFWPU family by bestowing on them the Grace Miller Award. Please submit your nomination at this link.

The deadline for applications is 31st July.

Who should be nominated?

Please submit nominations for young people aged 16-25 who have demonstrated an exemplary life of self-discipline and who have also made an impact on their community, which may include the FFWPU locally or beyond, but especially on the wider community (perhaps at school, in the local neighbourhood, or elsewhere).

Nominations will be considered by a judging panel who will choose the winner in the middle of August.

Who was Grace Miller?

At the age of 56 Grace Miller accepted the Divine Principle, and the True Parents as the fulfilment of her hopes and prayers for the return of Christ. Thereafter she dedicated herself to attending the providence for 25 years in many roles including as a fundraiser, witnesser, lecturer, interior designer, child care support, chef and Centre Leader. Her motherly heart and sincere dedication place her deeply in the memories and hearts of many.

Tim Miller created the ‘Grace Miller Award’ as a way of honouring her memory and giving recognition to the younger and 2nd generation members, to whom she had a deep love and appreciation.
