Dear friends,

Just to remind you that today we will be celebrating 40 years of interfaith work in Watford.

You are warmly welcome to attend

This Sunday 9th July, 2.30 – 5.30pm

The James Theatre, Watford Grammar School for Boys

Rickmansworth Road, Watford WD18 7JF

Parking on side.

Our guest speaker: Dr Harriet Crabtree, Director of the Interfaith Network for the UK.

Our honoured guest: Elected Mayor Baroness Dorothy Thornhill MBE, WIFA’s Patron

There will be a ‘Water Ceremony’ inviting people of all faiths to participate. One representative of each faith will be invited to take part. Each representatives will be given a glass of water which they will pour in a single bowl representing the world: the water of life of each faith coming together for the betterment and peace in our world. Then we will recite all together the international prayer of the Week of Prayer for World Peace. (see programme attached)

There will be stalls of various faiths publicizing their activities and projects.

This is a free event and you are most welcome to celebrate with us this most important milestone in our interfaith work in Watford.
